‘Raya Mesti Raya’ with Lotus’s Malaysia

Lotuss Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Tesco Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd) (Lotus’s Malaysia) is set to help customers make this upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration a memorable one with its ‘Raya Mesti Raya’ campaign.

Lotus’s understands that just because Malaysians might go another year without celebrating with extended family members, because of the interstate travel ban, it doesn’t mean that this year’s celebration has to be subdued.

“Last year’s Ramadan and Aildilfitri’s celebrations were very much muted because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the implementation of the first Movement Control Order. A year on and we are still living with this pandemic but are much better at handling it, and that is the crux of our ‘Raya Mesti Raya’ campaign. Despite the challenges, every family will be celebrating in its own special way,” said Lotus’s Malaysia President Kenneth Chuah.

“By tapping into the first of our 4 Brand Differentiator: Smart Total Supply Chain and Innovative Products, we are able to keep our stores well-stocked with daily necessities such as meat, chicken, fresh fruits and vegetables so that customers can continue to eat well during these celebratory times despite the pandemic.”

That said, Lotus’s is working hard to ensure that customers can still get their Raya staples of rendang and satay with imported Brazil beef (RM11.89 per pack), Australia Bone-in Lamb Leg (RM27.39 per kilo), as well as Lotus’s essentials mainstay, whole chicken at RM5.99 per kilo. All Lotus’s ‘Raya Mesti Raya’ meat products in Lotus’s are guaranteed Halal, with certification from the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).

Lotus’s will also have up to 35 per cent discount on most of its chilled and frozen favourites such as chicken sausages, meatballs, fishballs, minced beef, wedges and tempura nuggets to make buka puasa, faster and easier. On top of that, the retailer is also bringing in seven different types of dates (khenaize, deglet nour, medjool, al-hisham khalas, masafii lulu, masfii rabbie and masafii emirates), imported from the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia and Palestine.

The Clubcard loyalty programme will also give extra savings to customers, as their purchases are translated into accumulated points, which are then converted to vouchers. Vouchers can then be used towards future purchases. Given the current circumstance, the Clubcard points are even more beneficial than ever to help customers manage their cost of living.

 

Making high-end brand, Naelofar accessible for all

Lotus’s is excited to announce the first-ever collaboration with high-end modest-wear brand Naelofar this Ramadan and Raya season.

“We’re pleased to collaborate with Naelofar this Ramadan and Raya season to offer not just fashionable headscarves to our customers, but also a range of quality yet affordable Raya tableware items, cushion covers, blankets and tote bags. This is the first time that Naelofar has collaborated with a hypermarket brand and we are proud to be working with them,” said Chuah.

“The collaboration with Naelofar proves that Lotus’s is not just your desired grocery shopping destination, but also a place where you can find fashionable pieces that delights you.”

The Naelofar Headscarves range comes in two designs: the Lana Instant Shawl and Maia Semi Instant Shawl and retails at RM59 per piece.

They are available in 30 Lotus’s stores nationwide namely Lotus’s Melaka, Seri Alam, Desa Tebrau, Semenyih, Melaka Cheng, Nilai, Mutiara Rini, Eco Tropics, Ampang, Kajang, Kepong, Rawang, Selayang, Cheras, Klang, Shah Alam, Setia Alam, Kuala Selangor, Bandar Bukit Puchong, Ipoh, Sg Petani, Kota Bahru, Taiping, Kampar, Ipoh Station 18, Sg Petani Selatan, Bukit Mertajam, Seberang Jaya, Penang and Jitra.

Lotus’s Raya Mesti Raya campaign is until 2 June 2021 in all 62 Lotus’s stores and online channels inclusive of its grocery home shopping platform, Lazada and Shopee.
